"Dr. Moral, how could you make me do such evil things?" asked Kat, as her hair seemed to fall back to its normal state.
"I wanted power, I had to many enemies. And the government said they would pull our funds if we didn't create the assassin cyborg like we promised" replied Dr. Moral as he attempted to stand up by quickly sat down for Lance had thrown his fireball and nearly missed the Doctor.
"Liar, we have proof that you were just blood thirsty,” replied Derik with a hiss.
"All right, so what" said Dr. Moral stoutly.
"What, is that in about half an hour your building will loose every single file in every computer. And if your try and save the file by putting it onto a floppy the virus will be with it and there is nothing that you can do to save it" replied Lance as he slipped into his dark liquid form and slithered back onto Kat's right arm and took the same armor form, Derik then slipped into Kat's shadow.
"Just remember this whatever you do, that virus will always follow you,” said Kat as she stepped out of the window frame and walked down the hall.

As Kat was about to step into the car Lance and Derik slipped out of their hiding places and into their human form, all three then hurried into the car.
"So how did it go?" asked Van as they drove off.
"As good as we could've hoped for, the file is now deleted and Kat got a lot of upgrades,” replied Lance.
"Yes, I'm going to see which ones I have and which ones I like,” added Kat.
By the time they arrive home it was one in the morning, the boys slowly headed off to bed while Kat stayed awake and began to install the new upgrades. The first on she found was the flying, she quickly installed it. When it was done two small metal circles grew on her back, suddenly they opened and membrane-less wings erupted out. Kat quickly read the instructions to find that they were the flying type, the only thing they did was increase the leaping ability so that it looked like flying. The next was the sword, she did the same as the first and a small sheath grew from the robotic part of her left foot just below the knee. She pulled out the sword that was nothing more than a big dagger, suddenly the sides of the blade folded out till they were horizontal. The blade then shot upward till it reached eight feet.
"I like this" said Kat as the blade returned to its compact form, she then sheathed it. The rest of the night Kat checked the rest of the upgrades and found a few goods ones and ones that she all ready had. When she reached the last upgrade it was a Teleportation upgrade.
"Man, this is so going to be worth it,” said Kat as she installed the Teleportation upgrade, when it was done she quickly read the instructions and learned how to teleport. She then checked the destinations that were programmed into it. "Huh, I wonder where Cy Dragonstake is?" asked Kat as touched the name; suddenly she flashed once before she disappeared.
A few hours later Van was suddenly awoken, he then shifted into his werewolf form and stood up. The fur on the back of his neck rose as his tail went taunt; he then quickly woke Lance and Derik up. All three raced to the windows, they quickly peeled back the curtain to find a whole swat team on their lawn.
"Why are they here?" asked Derik in his human form.
"Because of Dr. Moral, look he's there with them,” replied Lance as he pointed at a man with a bullhorn. "We should get Kat and get the hell out of here" added Lance as he turned and began to walk out of the room when suddenly the swat team began to pour in through windows and doors. Just then one of the men from the swat team leapt in through the window, as a reaction Lance summoned a fireball and launched it at the men. He fell out of the window and onto the ground floor, which was two stories down.
"And don't try it again" shouted Lance through the window, as if on que the door to their room was trying to be jarred open. Van quickly charged the door, right when he hit it the door had opened an inch and the swat members were thrown back by the impact of a closing door.
"I can hold this for an hour or so" grunted Van as he put his whole body weight against the door. The next thing to happen was that Kat suddenly appeared in the room.
"You can't believe where I've just been,” said Kat.
"Tells us when the swat team leaves" said Derik as he dared a glance out the window.
"Get off my lawn" shouted Lance as he began to hurl down fireballs at anything moving.
"Go for the cars" said Van quickly as Lance laughed demonical as the cars exploded.
"I can get us out of here" said Kat as she quickly summoned up her new teleportation ability. "Grab hold" added Kat as she quickly extended her arms, they all quickly touched. Right when they did the door suddenly exploded into slivers, then right before they disappeared all four flicked the swat members the bird.
When the four hit ground they were in front of a large tower, it was then a rider and a large silver dragon flew into view.
"Quick, Lance and Derik go to hidden modes. Then Van, just go with the idea that you're my bodyguard" said Kat as Lance slithered onto her arm and took his place as her armor and Derik took his place as her shadow, Van then crossed his arms and stood close to Kat with a killer expression on his face even though he was still a werewolf. The dragon landed in front of Kat as the rider dismounted and walked toward her. |
