"Welcome to Cy Dragonstake, my name is Dev and the dragon's is Fevirem,” said Dev as he pointed to the silver.
"I'm Kat and this is my bodyguard, Van,” said Kat as the werewolf nodded his head.
"I'm not sure why you need a bodyguard, you are quite safe here" replied Dev.
"I know, but I could never part with him,” said Kat as she flexed her robotic membrane-less wings.
"Dev, the girl has secrets but I will not tell. She is perfect to become a candidate for the sands. Oh and make sure her bodyguard is aloud to stand near her while on the sands, though I have not searched him. And one more thing, don't try to take her armor on her back and right arm" said Fevirem as his rider nodded.
"Congratulations, you have been searched and will stand on our sands. Oh and I will try to convince the Headknight to let you have your bodyguard near you while your on the sands, oh and your armor as well" replied Dev as he walked to his silver. "Let me give you a boost,” added Dev as Kat who easily leapt onto the dragons back, Van then grunted and quickly climbed onto the dragon next to Kat, politely turned him down. Dev just shrugged his shoulders as he mounted and took his place in front of them.
Fevirem took them right up to the tower and landed. Kat was then told to go to the sands and fill out a form, she nodded as the rider and dragon took off. When they were out of sight she broke into a deep sigh.
"I can't believe that the right bought the story that I was your bodyguard,” said Van as he broke into a grin.
"Well actually his dragon knew but didn't tell him so we have the dragon to thank" said Derik from Kat's shadow.
"I find him later and thank him for not telling about us" replied Kat.
"Now that we're done can we go look at the sands all ready, I wana see what the dragons look like" whined Lance as he heated himself up, Kat quickly bit into the heated armor. She quickly jerked her head back for she had burned her tongue, seeing her in pain Lance quickly melted into his human form. "Are you all right Kat?" asked Lance.
"Come here" hissed Kat as Lance leaned in, he was quickly met by a punch in the face.
"Ow" replied Lance as he healed his broken nose; it was then that he felt a jolt. For the curse that his father had put on him was now broken, the exchange of pain between to lovers and the two still being in love was the one thing that the demon king thought would never happen. "The curse has been lifted, I remember my rank and title" added Lance as a dark ring appeared on his finger.
"So" replied Kat as she sucked on her knuckles.
"I'm the prince of all demons,” shouted Lance as he did a small happy dance. Kat and Van both shook their heads at the happy demon.
"I think we've been in one place long enough,” said Derik as Lance shifted into his dark liquid and took his place on Kat's arm as black armor. Kat then nodded as they entered the tower; strangely she seemed to know where to go. She stopped when she reached the sands; she looked at the dragons and their eggs.
"Wow, I've never seen a dragon before,” said Van as Kat turned and walked up to a form. She quickly filled it out, and when she finished, it disappeared.
"Now what?" she asked.
"I suggest that we sit here and learn all we can from those dragons,” said Van as he sat down, Kat nodded and sat down.
"Uh oh, I forgot Blix" said Kat as she stood up and disappeared; she then reappeared with the ice sitting on one of her membrane-less wings. "Ok" replied Kat as she sat back down. |
