But as Ombra leapt through the trees back to the trail the boy's grandmother had found the boy's body. "What evil has done such a thing?" shrieked the grandmother as the trees quickly answered her plea. "So a dark ninja did this, I shall get my revenge" shouted the grandmother as she picked up a broken stick and took off in the opposite direction of Ombra. Several trees tried to tell her that she was going the wrong way but she wouldn't have it, so the trees just stopped. Ombra had just now reached the trail, when the grandmother decided to turn around and go in Ombra's direction. The dark ninja sensed that the grandmother was not right in the head so he paid her no heed, but she was quiet fast. As she approached, Ombra leapt into the trees and hid in the leaves. The Grandmother stopped under the tree that Ombra hid in, she then swung the stick around till it pointed at the city. "I've got you now" she shouted as she ran toward the city, Ombra growled as he leapt to the ground. For some reason an uncontrollable rage seemed to flow through him, the cloth that covered his eyes started to burn away. A blue-black flame was now coming out from his gray eyes. "Old hag" roared Ombra as the grandmother stopped dead in her tracks, she turned around and gasped. A dark hue was now surrounding Ombra; it seemed to shoot up into the sky and darken the clouds. Though it was noon the grandmother shivered, as she stood frozen looking at the dark ninja. "What evil is this?" whispered the grandmother as Ombra slowly made his way toward her. He reached up and pulled out both of his Katanas, the blue-black flame suddenly erupted from the Katanas. Ombra stopped when he was just a foot away from the grandmother. "Give me my soul woman,” hissed Ombra as he raised the Katanas. "I don't have your soul,” replied the grandmother as she took a step backward. The rage that Ombra felt held his senses in a bind, the rage now made Ombra see the grandmother as the old woman that had stolen his soul. "GIVE ME MY SOUL" shouted Ombra as he slashed the grandmother, his rage now blinding him he continued to slash the grandmother despite the fact that his first move had killed her. Hours later the rage seeped out of Ombra, and the blue-black flame was now gone as well as the dark hue; as the sunlight shone Ombra collapsed onto the ground. |

Ombra stifled a groan as he took in a breath; the breath was clear and not stifled. His eyes shot open, for his cloth mask was gone; as well as his ninja outfit. He lie bare under a sheet, while lying on a straw woven mattress. He sat up and looked around the room in which he had been put in, the room was bare with absolutely nothing in it except for what Ombra had. Suddenly the door opened a crack, a girl shrieked and quickly shut it. "I hate young girls, it's not like they're bare when they bathe" hissed Ombra as he stared at the door. This time the door opened fully and a girl of eighteen years walked in while wearing a blindfold, in her hands were his outfit and Katanas. "I'm sorry I stole your cloths but when I found you lying in the trail I thought you were hurt since there was a mangled body near you" said the girl as she set the items down and backed away. Ombra stared at her hard, she had no ounce of magic in her; yet he still wondered how she was able to touch him. "Outside" he hissed before the girl giggled and left. "I repeate, I hate young girls" repeated Ombra as he quickly dressed. Strangely the girl had repaired his mask where his eyes had burned it away, when he finished he stepped outside to find that it was nearing dusk. He glanced at the girl, before he set off down the trail. "Wait where are you going, you can't leave" she said as she ran after him. "Leave me be" he replied as he quickened his pace, he would of slipped into Scuro by now but he felt to weak and if he did the girl would of come with him. "Like I can leave you now, I found you in the middle of the trail and there’s no way that you could of healed that fast" she said as she caught up with him. He stopped walking and grabbed her by the shoulders, "leave me be" his hissed as she shoved her away and kept walking. "Like that will stop me, I don't care if your evil or not but I will not leave you" she replied. This time Ombra stopped again turned toward her and threw a punch. His eyes widened as his fist passed through her, the girl giggled as he brought his arm back. "Did I forget to mention that I'm half ghost, oh and my name is-" was all the girl could say before a Katana was jabbed through her chest. "I told you to leave me be" was all Ombra said as he kicked her off of his Katana, he smirked for there was no blood on the Katana. He sheathed it and continued down the trail. |
