| Redseer breathed in deep, he was happy to be back on his home planet. "Redseer. Why is it that you haven't killed that human yet" hissed Redseer's half-brother Ice. Ice also had a talent like his half-brother, yet it wasn't as favorable. It was the power to tell when it was about to get cold. He walked on four legs like the majority of Kiros did, and not like Redseer who had an evolution and now walked on two legs. At the tip of Ice's muzzle it was a deep blue and the blue color faded throughout his body from dark to light, the tip of his tail was a bright white. "You know our laws better than anyone. And since you know the laws, you also know that they state the penalty for killed a Kiros is death" hissed Ice as he circled Redseer. "But you also know that humans can be resourceful, and it's not my fault that this human used their resourcefulness to kill a Kiros. Then what you might not know is that they committed the crime on their land, not ours. So they are on the side of the law" replied Redseer with cold eyes. Ice spat upon the ground before he launched himself at his half-brother. Redseer quickly leapt out of the way and as his half-brother past him he gave a sharp kick to the back of his head, shattering one of his longest and most prized horns. "You know I am the better fighter, so how can you even think of fighting me when you are as fragile as ice" spat Redseer as Ice scooped up his horn and scurried away with his dignity in the shape of his broken horn. "Never mess with a prince" hissed Redseer as he turned and began to make his way to his home. Palace Savest. As he approached the gateway, one of the guards stepped forward. "Prince Redseer, the king has learned of your return and wishes to see the humans that you have returned with" said the captain. "Learn correct speech, human" replied Redseer as he passed the confused captain. An hour later he arrived in the great hall where his father and step mother waited. He nodded to his father and sneered at his three-legged stepmother who cringed in fear. In his younger days, he was very angry, and still is very angry. On a moons light night he was training when his step mother ordered him to stop his foolishness and that he would never be great. Redseer snapped and with a great blade he sliced his stepmother's right arm off. Since that day, she never spoke another word to him. "My king, the captain gave word to me that you wished to see the human that I brought" said Redseer as the king nodded. He knelt down and removed his hollow scale and tilted down, the female human slipped out and fell to the ground. Instead of getting up and running in fright, the human just lied still on the ground. At this point Redseer was able to see that the female was around five feet tall while he easily reached sixty feet, he then leaned down which he quickly regretted. The female snapped up and brought forth a small object that fired smaller objects made of lead, they then fired the object several times. One of the rocks embedded itself into his left eye while the others entered his scales around his muzzled face. He roared a cry of pain as he jerked back, he brought his claws to his face in hope of dulling the pain. Rache breathed in deep as the red faced creature jerked away. Rache then noticed the two creatures sitting in thrones, she reached into her boot and pulled out several bullets and reloaded the .22 and spun it closed. She squinted her eyes in anger of being in a place that she didn't even know where she was. She looked between the two creatures and decided on the one on the right, Redseer's stepmother. She bounded toward the fear struck Kiros as she fired the revolver, the bullets sped toward the stepmother who just sat in the throne. They entered her body as if they were shot through paper, they burst through the back of the Kiros leaving the female slipping off the throne and onto the stone floor. Suddenly a guard rushed in with a bow an arrow as a weapon, in fear of seeing the dead queen they let an arrow fly. It buzzed past Rache barely leaving a small scratch against her arm, she jerked around and pressed the button of the laser. The red beam of light shot out and into the eyes of the guard, the guard screamed and dropped his bow. He began to rub furiously at his eyes, for the laser had blinded him. Rache shook her head and blinked her eyes, she suddenly felt woozy and dizzy. She replaced the .22 into her boot and knelt to the ground, her eyes rolled back into her head and she fell to the ground. Redseer arose at this time and looked around with his good eye. The bleeding from the wounds was now clotting, he noticed the female on the ground. He then noticed the arrow above her, and instantly knew that the human was asleep. He then looked and saw his stepmother bleeding upon the stone, he knew that she was dead. He turned around and saw the blind guard crawling on the ground trying to find his way. Redseer then uttered a cry with his mind and felt the guards coming to help, he then told them to bring medical help. Sensing that help was on the way, Redseer laid his great body down and began to rest. "The human must be trained soon, or all the energy will be wasted" thought Redseer as he pictured the future fights of the human. |
