| So Redseer and Jack teamed up to save the rest of the Kiros population, but their plans were futile. Three days past and on the third day only Rache, Jack and Redseer were the few surviving creatures on the planet. As Rache killed she bathed in her prey's blood, which dramatically increased her abilities as well as change her appearance. As Rache killed the last Kiros the two males found her, as she absorbed the Kiros' blood she changed yet again. Her horns twisted and grew longer, two large rotting wings bust from her back. Blood dripped and flesh fell to the ground from the wings, yet when they touched the ground they quickly burst into a black puff of smoke. "Well Redseer, looks like you're the king of nothing now" replied Rache with a sneer as she flashed her new fangs. "But I will be the king, who slays the creature that brought the apocalypse to the word of Gilana" hissed Redseer as he flared his wings. "Oh, good so you finally noticed what I brought. So now I will bring the ending to Gilana by killing the last surviving Kiros" replied Rache as she pulled out Seeker in bow form. She then notched it with an arrow that glowed purple. "But first" she started as she whirled around and let an arrow fly, the arrow hit an unseen attacker that cried out and fell to the ground. "Nice try, Jack" said the changeling as she stepped on the invisible ones wrist, she heard him cry out and pushed down harder. "Stop it Rache, he was just following my orders" shouted Redseer as he charged toward Rache. Rache then bounded away from Jack as she raced into the near by forest. Suddenly an arrow burst into the sky and sped toward the ground, but it was not the ground that the arrow hit....it was the invisible man. Jack shouted as the arrow imbedded itself into his chest, Redseer watched as blood began to flow from the wound. He bowed his head to the now dead man, he then lifted it up and bounded into the forest. He sniffed the air, and slowly began to walk through the trees searching for his prey. Suddenly a red dot appeared on his hand, he brought it close as he heard an explosion and a searing pain in his hand. "Thanks" shouted Rache as she crashed into his bleeding and broken hand, she then rolled away and stood up to look at him. His blood was splattered over her body, it then sank into hers skin. "That's it, I've absorbed all the abilities of the Kiros" cried Rache as her one gray eye and one brown eye flashed. Redseer snarled as he hugged his broken hand close, he now felt a searing pain of anger. All he wanted to do was eat the heart of this changeling. He flung his hand aside as rushed the human, her eyes shown in shock but then warped into a demonic glee as a bone crunching noise was heard. Redseer managed to look downward, he saw that Rache's taloned hand was shoved into his body where his heart was. "It's still beating, let me fix that for you" said Rache as if she was talking to a child. She then squeezed as hard as she could and felt the vital organ burst, Redseer in his fifteen foot mode sunk to the ground. The crown atop his head fell away and rolled, Rache reached out and gently stroked it before she placed it atop her head; her horns having no impact with the crown being lowered. "Don't worry Redseer, you will be remembered" she said sweetly as she ran her hand down his neck. *** Rache strode through the new world that she had been brought to by Silent Wind and Döhösh. Her face placid and emotionless, around her body a new cloth she wore. It was the skin of Redseer, she had folded and pined the skin of the Kiros till it was a perfect fit. She stroked the head of the beast that ran across her chest, her finger than ran up to the spiked collar she still wore. She then jerked it away, for she had received a shock. She swung her body around, and looked behind her. She then returned to her front and continued walking, since she had arrived to Cy Dragonstake she had felt that something was following her. She knew that the ghost of Redseer would always follow her till her death, and then he would torment her till eternity ended. "Oh my love, you still do not know that my death was fake. Oh how I wish I could go to you, but I watched how you skinned that Kiros and I value my life" thought Jack as he followed the changeling, where ever Rache went Jack followed. He even followed her down to the dark sands where he stood in the sands while she strolled between the eggs, when she left he followed her. The thought never once crossed his mind that he was a stalker, or that if Rache ever found out she would kill him on spot and use his head as a hand puppet. The days passed and Jack's luster for Rache never waned nor waxed, he always followed her. Even when she bathed, yet when she did bath. The skin and crown of Redseer were never removed, yet Seeker and the armor she worn was removed. "Ah, my pet. You are complex, a pure mystery that I can't wait to learn about you" thought Jack as he continued to follow the walking changeling. Suddenly Rache stopped and turned her head sideways. "Rache is my name, rache is my love". |
