GOLDEN ORDER
GO was founded in 2004 to provide an environment for teaching and practice of sprituality, and humanitarian activities.
GO participate in international efforts to defeat hunger by
-cooperation with organizations that work directly with poor people
-participating in activities in which we can help reduce hunger and poverty
-developing information exchenge and dialog with Non-Government Organizations and Civil Society.
GO offers a variety of group retreats inspired by the all spiritual traditions.
GO Office is set in Warsaw, Poland and the retreat centre is set in the quiet forest of South Mazowsze.
A non-government and not confined to one tradition or one religion GO begin operations to promote meditation, education and humanitarian aid as one of the initiatives expected to lead World material and spiritual growth in the future.
GO will build a network of teachers in various public and social fields. GO also coordinate directions for social and public activities, while at the some time providing founds to inprove the humanitarian aid and education enviroment in the World Society.
GO should be present in the World Society and have access to position of responsibility which allow GO to inspire the politics of nations and to promote innovative solutions to economis and social problems.

We would like to share with You some of thoughts concerning the common problems all of us face as members of the Human Family. And then we would like to ask You, what You position is on establishing a World Society with mission to eradicate material and spiritual poverty, diseases and ignorance, a Society living beyond the bondaries of nations, religions and ideologies. And than ask Yourself, what are You doing now at the issue of human rights to be free from material and spiritual poverty... Don't think, just do it !

"Our world is becoming smaller and ever more interdependent with the rapid growth in population and increasing contact beetwen people and governments. We are truly a global family. What happens in one part of the world may affect us all. We not only know what happens elsewhere, thanks to extraordinary modern communications technology, we are also directly affected by events that occur far away.
We must develop a sense of universal responsibility not only in geographic sense, but also in respect to the different issues that confront our planet.
No matter what country or continent we come from we are all basically the same human beings. We have the common human needs and concerns, We all seek happiness and try to avoid suffering regardles of our race, religion, sex or political status. Human beings, indeed all sentient beings, have the right to pursue happiness and live in peace and in freedom.
As free human beings we can use our unique intelligence to try to understand ourselves and our world.
The key to creating a better and more peaceful world is the development of love and compassion for others.
The need for cooperation can only strenghten humankind, because it helps us to recognize that the most secure fundation for a new world order is not simply broader politycal
and economic alliances, but each individual's genuine practice of love and compassion. The practice of compassion is not idealistic, but the most effective way to pursue the best interests of others as well as our own.

Group and Individual Retreats
Golden Order provides comprehensive Silent Meditation teaching and practices to realize Wisdom and Compassion in our daily life. GO offers a variety of groups retreats in Poland and in Your homeland if You wish.
The meditation retreats offer an opportunity to explore and develop wisdom and compassion through Silent Meditation and education. Emphasis is placed upon developing attention, sensitivity and silence in sitting and walking meditation. The teachers provide guidance through meditation instruction, talks and individual and group meetings. The talks aim to clarify the nature of meditation practice and explore its application in daily life. Apart frome these times of communication the retreats are held in silence. All retreats are suitable for both beginning and experienced meditators. Most of the group retreats offered by GO are from one to one week in lenght.
The GO teachers give enormously of their time, energy and understanding. The group retreat charge covers only food, accomodation, teacher travel expenses and retreat overheads. GO teachers rely on donations from students who value their guidance and wish to support the ongoing teachings and humanitarian actions.
Silent Meditation Retreats provide an enviroment and teaching wich aim to free the mind and heart from confusion and suffering. The fostering of awerness in each moment of our life leads to Wisdom and deepening understanding of the nature of life. Wisdom and compassion flow naturally from our depths.
