Adopt a Bed

The first Adopt-a-Bed program was completed in April. All bed "owners" have done an amazing job creating and maintaining their flower beds. Bed owners have all agreed to continue maintaining their beds as the rightful owners. They also understand that they "own" the bed until they can "sell" it to someone else. The unanimous winners of the competition are the Otto family. Their bed can be seen located under the cross at the front of the building. To drive by doesn't do it justice. You really need to get up close to see how they have transformed a mediocre flower bed into a Northwest wonder including bird bath, bird house and various new plants (with watering system). It has a feel of a prayer garden complete with walking stones leading to a concrete bench.
