When doing Ic(H) measurements I am afraid that my small JJ is overheated when the working point jumps into the resistive branch of IVC. Can I reduce the time during which the working point stays on/moves along a resistive/quasipartical branch?
Yes. After switching to non-zero voltage state GoldExI tries to reset the voltage setting the current to the value at which the voltage was zero at the previous loop. This may happen not so fast because there is a limitation on maximum DAC step (see Options|Delay). To accelerate the voltage reset procedure choose maximum DAC step as large as possible (e.g. 2048) and "delay after Sweep1 is set" as short as possible (e.g. 0). Warning: the large value of maximum DAC step may result in the very fast jumps of output current esp. when you change the current dragging the current-handle with the mouse?
