How math functions work when there is something selected on the screen?
First of all math functions can be called from the main menu | Math | ... as well as from context menu | Curves | ... We remind that to call context menu you have to press and hold right mouse button. When there is no selection, functions selected via main menu, apply to all curves. Instead, math functions called via context menu apply only to one curve closest to the mouse pointer in the moment when you clicked right mouse button to call context menu.
When selection is present, math functions called via main menu apply only to the points inside the selection. This makes sense not for all math operations, but currently only for: Filter, Smooth, SkipExtraPoints, Shift, Scale, Abs, Self-Field and Statistics.
When selection is present and math functions are called via Context menu | Curves | ... , this math function will apply only to the curves which are crossing the selection.
