Yup, this is Boiler Room. They formed in 1996, and I'm quite ashamed that I hadn't heard of them until . . . 2001. Mind you, they were only on American radio in 1999, and November 2000 was when their album was released. So, really, it's not that bad is it? (I'd also like to say that they were previously with another record company, who were supposed to release their album in the summer of 2000, but failed to do so, and Boiler Room switched to another label).
Anyway, their music is quite heavy, so if you're into that kinda stuff, which I am, it's very good. They sound similar to other metal bands (but which metal bands don't?), but like all decent ones, they have their own unique sound. A bit like Disturbed, but not, and younger and better looking, heh heh. . . I think, that if you're gonna give this lot a try, you should get "Do It Again". It's heavy, loud and very good. And also, if you have between £2-£5 to spare (depending where you go to buy it) you should get the single. Why? Because the CD is clear. That's right, folks, you can see through it!!! |
