My first experience with any of that phenomena was in gradeschool. The girls would do this passing out thing. One girl would squeeze another girl as hard as she could as the girl she was squeezing would hold her breath. Then the girl doing the squeezing would let go of her and she would collapse and faint. I only knew it was weird and wrong.
One of the "popular" girls had a birthday party and I remember sitting around in a circle and they were all telling ghost stories. Then they decided to call on the dead. They also were levitating one of the girls. I felt an eerie presence and knew that it was wrong, but didn't know why.
Then in highschool, you heard alot of talk about satanism and such. I never believed in the stuff, and wasn't interested. I heard guys say things like they had put a "spell" on their girlfriend and she almost died. Or they were going to put a "hex" on someone that had wronged them.
One of the guys in highschool, his mother was a "psychic" and she taught classes. Oh, he was odd, as you might say, but I never gave it much thought. He had painted his bedroom walls black and there were "demons" painted on the wall that would come to life and junk like that.
Well, after highschool, a very close friend of mine had really gotten involved in the "psychic phenomena". I didn't think any of it was real, so it didn't bother me. I thought it was just a phase she was going through. But she and I had a mutual friend and he claimed to have "psychic powers", and he would read her cards, and tell her her future and even her past. I thought it was dumb to be caught up in it and to be so enthralled that someone could tell you something about yourself that you already knew in the first place.
Since I didn't believe in it, or even think that it was real, I would let this guy read my cards and tell my future, etc. To me, it was a big joke. I pretended to go along with it. And I did. The things he always told me were things that I had told him anyway. And the things he told me about my future, well, he was always wrong.
One night, my husband and I were at my friend's house for a party and that is the night we started dating. This guy was also there and he held a seonce.
He was supposedly possessed by his grandfather's spirit and talked with everyone in the room. Yeah, the room became creepy and you could feel an eerie presence in the room, but I thought the whole thing was a joke. So did my husband.
My husband and I were married a year later, and our psychic friend would still come over and read our cards. We let him because neither one of us believed in it or really took to heart anything he ever said. We love him and we didn't ever want to hurt his feelings, so we went along with his beliefs just to be nice.
I became pregnant and was to the doctor's for a visit and had heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time. I had had several miscarriages, so I was thrilled to know things were going well. When my friend found out, he laid his hands on me and prayed. He stood at my side, facing me and put one hand on my belly and one on my back. He never spoke a word, or said "In the Name of Jesus" or anything about God. It was a silent prayer; more of a meditation, I guess.
As he did this, I felt this "fire" go through me, from his one hand to the other. I knew instantly that my baby was dead, but I didn't know how I knew. And he, being psychic, never knew either.
I went home that night and told my husband about hearing the baby's heartbeat and then about our friend praying over me. I told him I knew the baby was dead. He didn't believe me or want to believe me.
I didn't "feel" pregnant anymore. My next visit to the doctor, confirmed my fears. Not only was the baby dead, there wasn't a baby. It had just disappeared! It was gone! I wasn't even shocked. I already knew. My husband couldn't believe it. The doctor had thought he made a mistake and maybe I had never been pregnant in the first place. Everyone was stunned. Except me.
The years went on and I still didn't believe in the devil and I didn't like God, because of losing 5 babies to miscarriage. (see: Miscarriages/How I Survived Them)
I later gave birth to 3 healthy children. I fought depression and suicide quite regularly. After our 3rd child was born, I became so "evil" feeling. I didn't like to hear people talk about God and I didn't know why. I didn't like my life, but I didn't want anything to do with Christianity either.
One day, my husband decided that I needed some help. He sent me to Lockport, NY to visit my aunt. She was a "Holy Ghost-filled Christian" and I was scared to death of her. She and I had always been close until she became "weird" to me. I tried to stay clear of her. I stayed with her for a week. I had all 3 kids with me and my husband called every night to talk with me and to see how things were going. Well, they weren't any different, because every time she mentioned that she wanted to pray for me, I would tell her "no thanks", and would get away from her.
It was strange being in her house. I felt a presence there that made me very uncomfortable. I didn't know what it was, but I didn't like it. I also didn't like the fact that she always talked about Jesus. I didn't know why it made me so uncomfortable. And she was weird, I mean, she spent every morning in her bedroom for HOURS and claimed that she had been spending time with God. She actually believed that she was in His presence and that He talked to her. I didn't believe it.
She and her husband were both ordained ministers of the gospel, and I was a smoker. I would sit outside and smoke on their front stoop as often as I could. I just couldn't stand being in their house. She would come outside and sit with me. Every time, she would mention that Jesus loved me, I wanted her to shut up. She never did.
One night she was watching this Benny Hinn guy on TV. I sat in a chair across from the TV and she sat on the sofa off to the side. I didn't like this guy. He was weird. And I thought he was phony. She was watching me. I could feel her staring at me and it made me nervous.
The next morning, she was in prayer, of course, and I was outside smoking. She came outside and sat on the step below me. She told me that God had spoken to her about me this morning. I said; "Oh yeah?" I didn't believe her. She told me that God told her she was to pray "over" me. I thought she was nuts! I told her I was fine and didn't need her to pray "over" me. She said; "Oh, but you do, honey. God showed me that someone has laid hands on you that is not of Him." I thought; "SO!" Then she said that God had shown her in a vision. I wanted to run. She was as weird as those psychics! I told her that nobody had "laid hands" on me. She said; "Oh, you're wrong, honey. God doesn't lie. He showed me a man's hands laying hands on you just like this." (She even described his fingernails and every ring he wore) As she said it, she grabbed me and laid one hand on my belly and the other on my back. When she did, the memory of my psychic friend came back to me. Now I was confused. It was something that really had happened. But I never thought about him not
"being of God" as she put it.
She told me I wasn't leaving until I let her pray over me. My husband was on his way to pick me up and I told her . She grabbed my hand and dragged me into her diningroom. She laid her hands in the very spot that my friend had, and began to pray over me. Only, she prayed OUT LOUD, and in the Name of Jesus! I don't even know what she prayed over me. All I know is that when she began to pray, this power came all over me, except this was not an "eerie" feeling. As I felt this power, my body began to shake uncontrollably. Something was trying to get out! I felt this thing, start at my feet and come up out of my head. This happened 3 times. Something was leaving me. I began to feel lighter and lighter. I felt so free! I had neevr felt like that in my life. I felt like I could fly. A smile was on my face that didn't go away. My husband came and he noticed that I was different. He talked about it all the way home. He had never seen me so peaceful. He told me something definitely happened to me.
This began a journey for me. I wanted what she had. She gave me a book by Benny Hinn that I had no intentions of reading. It changed my life.
Since then, I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior. He has changed my life. I now walk in the anointinmg that my aunt walks in. God has shown me the evil of psychic phenomena and the occult. He has sent many people to me to be delivered just as I was. He truly is ALL we need. He knows our past and He knows our future and we can trust Him. He really loves us.

You may wonder what the difference is between someone who is anointed and someone who is psychic. I will tell you. A psychic receives information from many spirits (spirit guides) and an anointed person of God, receives their information by ONE Spirit; the HOLY SPIRIT. A psychic becomes possessed with many spirits, but an anointed person becomes filled with the Holy Spirit when they accept Jesus Christ as their Savior. A psychic cannot cast a demon out of someone in the Name of Jesus, because they have no authority over darkness. They are one with darkness. But a believer in Jesus Christ has the authority given to them by God to cast demons (or ghosts) out in Jesus' Name.
If you are involved in the occult in any way, please know that you can be free! You don't have to allow satan and his angels to control you or fill you with fear. God holds your tomorrow in His hand. He loves you and wants the best for you. Don't settle for less. God will not harm you. He sent His Son for you. He is not against you.

Heavenly Father, I thank you and praise you for this person reading this right now. I thank you that you know all things and we don't need to rely on the stars or cards for our answers. You will reveal to us all that we need to know and when we need to know it. I ask you, Father, In the Name of Jesus, to touch this person right now and let them feel your awesome presence. Thankyou Jesus that you are the only One we need. I bind the unclean spirits in this person's life right now, in the Name of Jesus! I command you in the Name of Jesus, to loose this person now! Holy Spirit, touch them and fill them with your presence and teach them the things of God. Give them discernment between good and evil in Jesus' Name. Lord Jesus, forgive them for serving satan out of deception and come into their heart right now and be their Lord and Savior. Fill them with your Holy Spirit and use them to set others free. In Jesus' Name. Amen!
