sSadly in March 2007 a former member of this great golf weekend passed away. Kevin (aged 41) was one of the early members of the golf weekend. He will be sadly missed. 

Kevin was one of the weekends great characters, full of life

even if his golf was not that great. His enthusiasm alone

made up for most of his golfing weaknesses. He was

always the clown and always seemed to be the centre of

attention, he was one of life's cheeky chappies. One of his

funniest moments is still listed in the top 10 of funnies.

In memory of Kevin a new trophy has been introduced

"Kevin McCloskey Memorial Trophy", this will be played for

every Saturday and will be based on the best nett score

for the day.
