Top Ten Funny Moments, Scams & Jokes

s

Listed below at the Top Ten mishaps, scams, funny moments. I have received more funnies but these are the ones that keep coming up. If you can remember a funny moment and think it should appear in the top ten then please drop me a line, Condo.

Please note I am missing some of the years from these so if you can remember the year in which the funny took place then please write.

Position Scam, Joke or Funny Moment

Year

1. Every single moment in the Vicars outfit - Singing hymns in a pub to checking out the lingerie in Bravissimo, excellent weekend all round ! 2005
2. ‘Northgate’ the nightspot from hell, a bargain at a £1/head. Ibbo’s face was a picture when he returned from the gents to find his ‘mates’ had left him. 2001
3. ‘Sumo’ the chant that got Mark ‘Lippy’ Wilson ejected from this Dublin bar. 1999
4. The switching of the toilet signs, Worso’s moment of magic caused much laughter and plenty of head scratching for those patrons entering the wrong toilet. 2000
5. The dodgy £20 note, never fails to deliver, although once the bar manager got wind of it the game was up. Unknown
6. Clogger McCloskey caught short in Stamford. Having run out of toilet paper he was about to resort to using his socks, until Scott came to his rescue. 1995
7. The very first ‘scam’, Trevor moment of genius. The clubhouse at St Neots had got word that a stripper would be appearing later that evening, which of course was a pure fabrication. Once Trevor made the call ‘the stripper’s arrived’ the bar emptied to get a closer viewing, but of course there was nothing to see, as this was a figment of Trevor’s over active imagination. 1993
8. This was purely comic genius, a great one liner from Baby Wez. Commenting on Dales golfing outfit on the first tee, Baby Wez complimented Darrell for getting a perfect colour match with his teeth ! It is unlikely that we will see the yellow trousers/shirt combo again. 2007
9. The ‘Jag for a Weekend’ the longest running scam, which was born at Christmas time prior to the weekend and ran right up to the prize presentation. Lee was the most gullible of the group, although most had fallen for it !! 1999
10. ‘Disco’ Dave is funny at the best of times, but this one liner gone down in golf weekend history. Mort was looking for a lost ball when ‘Disco’ says, here look. Trev thinks great he has found my ball, only to look down and see nothing. Disco’s timing is perfect when he respond by saying ‘Look at these lovely buttercups, I haven’t seen these for ages’.  Unknown
