Roundup and Vicinity
Roundup, Montana is situated along
the Musselshell River, at the northern edge of the pine-covered Bull
Mountains. The area offers hiking, hunting, and fishing. Hunters
come from around the country to hunt elk, deer, antelope, turkey, and a variety
of game birds. Pine Ridge Golf Course is a quality 9-hole course
located 5 minutes from downtown. With very low memberships fees it offers a great golfing opportunity. Summer activities include
rodeos, fairs, sidewalk sales, and Bump & Run Motocross. The
Musselshell Valley Historical Museum, open May thru September, provides an
excellent introduction to local history.
Roundup
is 50 miles north of Billings, a regional hub for transportation, entertainment,
advanced medical facilities, shopping, and dining.
