But just as quickly you broke my heart
and I didn't nkow if I would survive.

I didn't even know you that long
but you managed to sweep me off my feet;
with your gorgeous eyes and loving smile,
and the words you spoke, so sweet.

Then without an explanation
you took those words away,
and left my heart in pieces -
my world a shade of grey.

With just a little effort,
we could have had something great.
