The Sunrise (part II)

The first cloud gets its silver lining and within seconds            it's as though the sky is on fire You can see the raidant beams of light breaking     through theh clouds; reaching out to every corner of the sky The heavens light up and at that moment I know I have never been               so close to God. Then at last, a light, so bright that I have to turn away,     peaks over the horizon, throwing a golden light onto my face, and my hands; and the ocean and the sands. The sky that was dark behind me has turned a pale and soothing             shade of blue And for a second I get carried away,    But then I realize it all means nothing ....
