So, you want to know yet more about me. My aren't you nosy. Well, since you asked.... here's a few things about me that you may or may not know. Well, I am a 20-year old junior at Bradley University, located in the picturesque shithole of Peoria. I am currently a Civil Engineering major, which cuts the fun I have in college down oh, about ten times. During the week, I usually have zero fun, so I gotta get mah freak on on the weekends here, which at times is even difficult to do, considering all the stuff that DOESN'T go on here. For the most part, there isn't a whole lot to do. We usually have to make our own fun, and when we succeed, it makes for a good weekend, usually. But it just seems lately I have responded to all the "How was your weekend?" questions with, "I've had better." Sooo, that pretty much sums up my social life here. I am currently flying solo in the relationship aspect of my life. I'm on the prowl, so all you ladies you betta be lookin out for me. ;-) So I went to a private high school, Providence Catholic, in New Lenox. I played volleyball my first 3 years there, and golf my last 3. I got cut from the golf team my freshman year, along with my pal Timmy. So we were determinted to just make the team the next year, and we did. And low and behold, both of ended up going down state individually our senior years (along with two of our other buddies, Tres Steffy, aka "Fat kid", lol, and Adam Tatro, now known as "#2"). Go figure. So yeah, the personal Michael Jordan-getting-cut-from-basketball story, with a few twists. So my senior year, we went down state as a team as well, even though we didn't have the best showing there. Just ask Timmy what he shot his first round of state! ;-) Well, it's a good basketball score for an NBA team though! :-) We were just glad to get down there though. I had a blast. I had two goals before that season: 1) Qualify for the state tourney individually, and 2) qualify as a team. And hey, it happened. We had the most individuals downstate then any other high school in Illinois - 4. Only one other school had 3. So yeah, overall those are my 15 minutes of fame, mostly coming when I captured the regional medalist honors. So anyways, I am continuing my golfing career here at Bradley, but no stories so far. I gotta wait 'til I get good again before that happens! Anyways, you wanna know a little on the family side? Well tough, if you are still reading this, you are sittin' through another paragraph - deal with it! So, I have a 17-year old brother, Christopher, who is a junior at Providence Catholic (my former high school). He's a dork, so we'll just leave it at that and move on... :-) I also have a 22-year old sister, named Lauren. Graduating in the winter from Eastern Illinois University, majoring in some kind of teaching, I believe in math. Hmmm, I guess thats about it, I don't know what else to say about her really. Finally, my father. I live at home 3 months or so out of the year, so when I am livin it up in good ol' Lockport/Homer Township/Homer Glen (whatever the hell you wanna call it), I still gotta answer to the big guy. I do really respect him and look up to him though, I mean, I see everything that he does for me, my brother, and my sister. He works extremely hard at his job, and whether or not he knows it, it's appreciated. And he doens't get a lot of credit for it, but it's gotta be hard basically raising 3 kids (well, still raising 1, looking after the other 2). He's been doing it for 3 years now, since my mother died in February '99 (my junior year in high school) of a brain aneurysm. So I greatly appreciate my family, and everything they do for me (except my little bro, he dont do shit for me!) :) Well, I guess thats enough information for now. I'm sure I'll add some stuff here and there to this page. |
