Combat Rules
1) If your not having fun, well then, you got a problem.
2) It should be noted that the Unique Structure of Pantheon does not allow Temporal MAnipulation.. any Spell/Disc/Power/Gift/Whatever, that Can Alter/change/manipulate the flow of time is PROHIBITED ((this Stops People from doing things Like "I alter the Flow of Time and this Entire Battle in which I had my Ass handed to me never happened"))
3) All type of spars will have no limitations to how many posts. It'll just keep going until there is a winner (this includes Death Spars). However, we do ask that in some spars (ie practice spars or brawls) try to keep the posts under 5 if possible. 3 attacks and 2 defense. Also make sure to keep 4-6 lines per post.
4) All characters are prone to damage NO MATTER what they are, or how skilled. NO god moding. If you choose to ignore this rule, your character will be ignored for the duration of the stay in Pantheon. If your character is killed, within acceptable limits, your character is dead and will be ignored in all actions should you choose not to accept the kill.
5) FOR A DEATH MATCH, IT IS REQUIRED THAT ALL SEEK THE APPROVAL FROM EITHER A COUNCIL MEMBER AND THE LORD BUT...IN THE EVENT SOMEONE WISHES TO FIGHT THE LORD IN A DEATH MATCH, YOU MUST SEEK TWO COUNCIL MEMBERS' APPROVAL...THE COUNCIL MEMBERS AND LORD ARE LISTED BELOW... Council Members
6) All NPC badmen must use "storytelling" when telling a story about an army. This helps us all to know that they are the badman (if not on their tags). If there is also one NPC person and several PC's attacking that NPC, then please post once and don't post another attack until your attack was answered by the NPC. Another way in helping the NPC person is to create an order (ie. you got 3 players, the 1st player goes, 2nd, then 3rd, then 1st again and so on). This helps the NPC person not get confused or even lost!
7) When posting use of your discipline, to show others exactly what it is you use, we herein would prefer it show, for example, {Celerity/ Flower of Death} or {Cleric/Cure Light wounds}... NO MORE {celererity / lvl. 8} etc. Also on a Second note, we would like you to be able to back your Character up in Print. IE an Online Version. Nothing Fancy, just a Listing of Powers/Disc/Gifts/Arcana/Whatever you have so that you can Back your Calim ((Cause any Idiot can Say they have Dominate At Level 10, BUT Can they Prove it))
8) Non-Registered PC characters are allowed to play in the combat, however, the PC character must realize that they must know fully well of our system (free form and D&D based as it is) and must follow these rules precisely. If we find that the PC character is not rplaying correctly then we will need to ask the PC character (in pms) to step aside and do something else (ie. ghost and then help heal later), or leave the room.
