In America where we can pretty much get anything we want or
need, its hard to fathom that life is not the same in other countries.
We hear of terrible conditions or happenings in other places, yet
its on the news, papers, radio, etc. but it isn't a reality to us,
for we haven't experienced it personally.
Pretty horrible, pretty heart breaking,, pretty hopeless, mad maybe??
Well in Sudan, this happens every day!! Men, woman, children
are taken into salvery every day. Tortured, beaten, raped, and
killed! They watch with horror as their children are put into
horrific conditions, or killed. They are forced to change their
beliefs in Jesus, or be killed. Used sexually, fed little or nothing
for days on end, and yet still forced to work.
What would you do, standing there watching this happen to
your child? Would you do something if it was in your power
to do so?? Yes of course you would, and you can!
For $35.00 dollars, you can set another human free!
Here in america, we pay $100.00 for a pair of shoes, go
to the movies, pay untold amounts for computer games,
cds, resturants, fun and tons of other luxuaries.
But what if someone came into your house, took your wife,
husband, children or friends right out at gun point, sold them
into salvery. Where they would be raped, killed, beaten forced
to work, fed scrapes if that. And they did this right infront of
you?? What would you do?? Would you fight, say no way,
or whatever? Would you watch as your spouse was killed,
your child raped, or beaten and do nothing? You say no way
because i would do this or that. Well, sadly to say, if there
were several holding you at gun point or what ever force they
chose, you would do nothing. For life instinct would kick in and
you would do whatever you had to so that you could survive.
And what if this was happening and your neighbors had to ability
to set you free, rescue you and save you from this horror, but
did nothing, saying let someone else do it, or let their own family
or country come to their rescue. How would you feel?
Christian Solidarity International purchase's slaves back, and then pays for medicial, food, clothings and helps them get back to the villiage where they lived. Think about it, for $35.00, you can
set a human brother or sister free. What an impact you can make.
save the whale? kill a unborn child? does this make sense to you?

If it were your child would you be fighting to find people to help? would you do every thing in your power to get it done?? what if you could not but you knew one who could, but wouldnt? Please don't be that one who wouldn't. Make a difference and do something that can!
