The ship is under attack, but there is no other vessel anywhere close. Finally, the bridge figures that it's from the cargo they were carrying. They are being
attacked from the inside. Whatever it is, it radiply rips the entire ship apart. The citizens load into escape pods and evacuate, as do the techincians and bridge crew. Only the captain remains on board. From there, he watches helplessly as the escape pods are being shot down by the ship's very cannons. Whatever was destroying it, had complete control as well.

The captain, knowing it's all over, pulls a locket out. He opens in and inside is a picture of, presumably, his wife and daughter, both with auburn colored hair. He rests it on the control console and sits in his command chair, awaiting his doom.

On a nearby planet, the wreckage has landed, in pieces. Nothing has survived, but one girl. She stands and watches the ocean, as more of the ships parts plummet down...
