Before 01 09 11 (09/11/01 or September 11th), most of the people living in the United States were not aware that a nation called "Afghanistan" existed, nor where the country was located, or how to spell its name, however, since then this has changed for the most part; the US citizens (well most) now know that its on the continent of Asia and that because of "September 11th" a war took place there that "freed" the women (and others) who were held captive and had suffered from many human rights violations. But much of what they know or have heard has been propaganda organized and reported the U.S. "corporament" ( corporations + government) and other governments and agencies that the corporament has on its payroll or that have been threatened or coerced by the corporament so that they offer their support.
Needless to say, many of you that are reading this page now do not understand or know what I am talking about because we live in a "free" nation with democracy where many things are banned and considered taboo, one of which is the TRUTH about our corporament that represents US abroad (whether we like or not). We are truly ignorant about what our government and corporations have done and are currently doing, but why? Since we live in a "free" country in which we elect people to represent US, shouldn't we know how and in what capacity they are representing US, I know that I would like for someone to represent me in a manner or way that goes against my beliefs and thoughts.
"The United States is not nearly so concerned that its acts be kept secret from its intended victims
as it is that the American people not know of them."
- (former) >U.S. Attorney General Ramsey Clark
Being that this is the case, we have to "educate" ourselves on issues and topics that are now brought up in our narrow-minded news and do research so that we can know what our "corporament" is doing in our name. After September 11th, many began to do that but their scope and search was limited as this was the first time they had begun to acquire information outside of the daily news reports, so I have created this page to assist in the "research" and "education," particularly about Afghanistan ('talking points', Osama bin Laden, the War on Terrorism and its Aftermath, US war crimes in Afghanistan, terrorism, a little history on the US involvement in Afghanistan prior to 01 09 11, and the "current" administration's fixation with natural resources, especially OIL.
