This page is titled, "kapal terbang," which is Indonesian for aeroplane, and to clear up any misconceptions one may have, for each page of this Web site, the title will be from a language other than English. I will give the translation for each within the Tree of Knowledge and possibly on the Web page as well. One of my desires in the creation of this Web site is to spread knowledge about other cultures. I believe that one way to do this is by learning a "foreign" language. When learning a new language, the culture of the people who speak the language and history of the lanugage needs to be discussed. However in very few foreign language classes and books this is not done, why? In many courses, the culture and the people who primarily speak the language is never mentioned or brought up, if so, possibly once or twice during the class. In order, to learn the language effectively and to really understand what you are studying, it is important to also learn about the culture.
Within the past thirty years or so, (probably longer) there have been some
mysterious airplane
accidents and deaths occurring to many people, especially those in positions
of power. One such
tragic airplane accident happened to Ron Brown, who was the 30th U.S.
Secretary of Commerce. I
am sure many have heard or read about Pan American (PA) Flight 103, but what is
the "real" story behind these two plane accidents that the media and
government has not told us? Is there any more to what the media has conveyed
to us? If you wish to know more about both of these plane crashes, check out
the links below which come from various sources across the globe.
