Qabu is a Sumerian word for speak, and since our freedoms have been discussed and manipulated to disguise the truth behind September 11th and the aftermath; I felt that it was important to use the word "speak" instead of "speech" for the title of this page. Many US citizens have referred to the 1st Amendent that appears in the Bill of Rights and Responsibilities (even though many forget the part about Responsibilities), which is a part of the US Constitution. The first Amendment gives US citizens the "freedom of speech," even though in the past and still somewhat today, we are restricted by the government or other authorities when we wish to express our "freedom" to speak guaranteed by the 1st Amendment. Nonetheless, this Web site has been created like many others to explore the US' role (our role as well since the government and corporations ACT in our names when doing whatever they do over seas, by the way, what is it that they do over seas?) in conflicts and wars in other nations (covert and overt); the reasons for the war on terrorism (second US-led/funded war in Afghanistan); the truth behind 09/11, Pan Am 103, Ron Brown's death, the Anthrax mailings; the Patriot Bill and its repurcussions, among other things.
On this page, I will be including speeches and essays from the past and present that deal with current issues in the United States and also in other countries. Through this page, hopefully, one can gain more knowledge about the world around them, learn about other cultures, and begin to research for themselves the problems of today and the future.
