Wow, 2004 dissapeared in a flash. GOODBYEjimmy is back together, back from our Xmas breaks and getaways, and liposuction. Eric's knee has healed. Ben is a Man now (or an "Hombre" in his native tongue). And Nate has wonderful hair (not everything changes in the new year!). In 2004 GOODBYEjimmy accomplished many things, well actually two things. We found a new guitarist (Nate.Novak) and we played our music for the vice president of the United States. Fortunately for everyone, Both will remain in their current positions in 2005.

We're writing and recording. We have several Radio stations in the mix. And Spring shows will be announced right here on this website within a few days!

The Hurricane Benefit Show at Jessie's in Winter Haven was rescheduled to FRIDAY OCTOBER 29th. Be there!

Dick Cheney Sends his regards! Wow, what a privilege to have performed for Dick Cheney and the republican Party Last week! Pictures from the even will be loaded very soon. A shout out goes to all the hard working GOP peeps from FL. Also Buzz with Dick Cheney's office was very helpful in getting us approved to play. I am sure we are the only Alt.Indie. Rock Band around FL that can say they were approved by Dick Cheney. "High I'm Dick Cheney and I approve this Band!"  You could now say that GOODBYEjimmy loves Dick (but a lot of people used to say that anyway because of our lead singer!). Also thanks goes out to Secret Service for letting us sneak our gear out during the event long after the perimeter was secured. Also thanks for not blowing up Eric's Hyundai which he left "inside the perimeter." Also Big Tanks goes out to Rob for not having anything incriminating in Eric's vehicle during the security sweep and search by bomb sniffing dogs. See you at the WH Show!

Also Making News, Nate changed his hair style, embarrassed at his description on this site. Which is ironic considering this site was making fun of how often he liked to play with his hair. If you see Nate around town, around campus, or around Bennigan's, please tell him how pretty you think he is. Nate would like to send a shout out to all his peeps that came to our recent show. Here is his shout out; "that one guy, the other dude, and all those hot chicks, Bonnie was one. Sarah, take me back, por favor, and finally, man is my sister hot!"

I Hope Hurricane Jeanne left you safe and unscarred. We were blessed heavily in several ways. My House (Jacob-bassist) looks like a Huge oak tree hit it, however the tree "caught itself" by landing on a branch and just missing the house by 4-6 inches. All of the houses by us used to be lakefront like mine, but now they are Lake-0n houses as lake Bonny has flooded. Again we were blessed by the fact that the lake is still 40 feet from our backdoor. At any rate, the hurricane relief show in October brings even more personal meaning to it now.

The Highlands Park Church of the Nazarene shows were a blast. We 'rocked the fag', made lots of new friends and placed well in the Battle of the Bands. I apologize to any who were lost due to my mixing up the directions for this show. Saturday's show at the Campfire Center was cancelled due to the hurricane. If it is rescheduled I will let everyone know.

SHOW THIS THURSDAY! Hopefully this show is still on at Warner Thursday evening.

All Sorts of MEEKROB to talk about here. 1st a 4most, a new guitarist. Yes, Yes we have been promising that for over a year, but we can finally make it official. Nate.Novak joins GOODBYEjimmy (Gj) as a powerhouse of blonde hair, tan skin, ripping muscles, and a surfer like empty-gazed cockiness that just screams lead guitarist. Oh yes, we also made sure he could play guitar. Check out some rare new photos of Nate in action, or come to one of the shows and welcome him in person.

Second, a site re-design. 'bout time right? What does 'breaking up long distance' mean? The new design coincides with the design process for our new Album, tentatively titled, 'breaking up long distance.' Coincidentally both Nate and Eric's girlfriends dumped them long-distance this summer, long after the title had been settled on. Next album will be titled 'getting a million dollar record deal' Let's see if that works too!
