Time 4 Held Rote:
Phoenix Rote: (Life:5, Forces: 5, Time: 4, Prime: 5, Spirit: 4) - This turns Zak into a being of pure fire upon death. First he explodes doing 16 aggravated wound levels to everything in the area, including across the gauntlet. Then is holds his spirit/avatar here on this plane while it creates a body of pure fire in the shape of a Phoenix.

Allies and Contacts:

Familiar: "Computer" is a familiar that looks like a wrist watch on Zak's arm. It adds one to Zak's Arete and primarily asks for a tremendous amount of Quintessence, which is no problem for a Master of Prime. It's other major abilities is information font on spirit topics and esoteric knowledges, being on of Zak's major weak points. (Made under First Edition Rules)

Dr. Dee (SoE): Dr. Dee is an orphan that Zak seduced away from another Chantry that wasn't treating him right. He is a master of Prime and Matter, but not much else. He's Zak's Junior partner in Vulgar Industries.

Carrie Wanes (SoE): Zak's Number One. She takes care if all of Zak's day to day stuff around the Lab. She had a BIG Crush on Zak, but when he made it clear he was married she eventually got over him and is now having a weird relationship with the Technocracy agent who watches the place.

Anita "Firebug" Savage (SoE): A student of Zak's who is trying to perfect life made of fire. She refuses to use her real name anymore and goes almost exclusively by her nickname. Her latest success was a flower with petals of flames. The head of the Verbena Chantry is tying to lure her away, but so far no luck yet.

George Einstein (SoE): Another student of Zak's who is a total bookworm. His primary field of interest is Time and Mind.

Kyle Wells (SoE): Zak's student and main car mechanic. This was Krystina's former boyfriend Zak saved from a Nephandi pit. He later awakened when Zak gave him a scroll to read. His Avatar is a Primordial Avatar of the Wheel and Kyle spend most of his time working on cars.

Krystina (Orphan), One of 3 teens Zak saved from a Nephandi pit (the third, Melanie, went on to be a Dream Speaker). In the conflict Krystina was embraced by Shiatan, a Baali Methuselah Vampire. They were able to bring her back to life and that awakened her, but she does not have her original Avatar anymore. Her new Avatar has not talked to her yet. She hangs around Zak's lab sometimes, but lives with Butterfly and Tim. Still has a casual relationship with Kyle.

Butterfly, Orphan Master of Correspondence and Spirit, friend of Mallory's and wife of Tim. Butterfly spends most of her time saving lost or missing children and bringing them home. Also does some deliveries for Zak when it's an emergency. Butterfly just had twin boys of her own, Michael & Timothy.

Angelo, a weird sort of Orphan who calls himself the "Tradition" mage. He seeks to learn each sphere from the Tradition that specializes in it. Has a familiar called "Snowball" that is a "Lert", a small white puffball with earmuffs. Arete 4. Angelo has been contacted by a future Zak and thus Zak keeps an eye on him. Angelo is now "Angela" after learning LIFE from a bunch of Verbena who decided to "do him a favor" and turn him into a woman. "Now sister, you can TRULY understand life!"

Necker AKA Nazghul Wyrmsbane, Nathanial (formerly associated with the Euthanotos tradition): All spheres at 3, Arete 9. Strangely enough, this is one of two people in the world Zak really would trust to watch his back. A flaky death mage whose Avatar is a small fragment of the true Uncorrupted Wyrm.

Personal
Zak lives in the middle of a Uktena Sept in North Dakota and commutes daily through the umbra to his lab, Vulgar Industries, in Saint Paul, MN. He drives a silver Delorian with the license plate: VULGAR1. His Bumper stickers read, "Honk if you like Paradox!" and "My other vehicle is a Mole Machine."
He typically looks into the future and carries around what ever he needs at the time or think he needs. When worried, he frequently carries more firepower than most tank divisions. Otherwise he walks around wearing clothes that he alters using matter to look like whatever the common style of clothes for the area look like. When not trying to blend in, he likes to wear either a lab coat or a tux, even if it is totally out of place. Sometimes he wears a T-shirt that says, "I survived my 11th paradox realm and all I got was this lousy T-shirt." on the front and on the back is "Wrinkle says Just undo it'"
