Cut Scenes
When you watch an episode on screen, you're probably not seeing the original draft. At least 23 minutes are filmed, allowing NBC to cut it down to 22 minutes as they wish, so at least a minute of filming is never seen. There's also changes made by the writers before filming, such as cutting scenes, eliminating them completely, or just little dialogue changes. This section will list them.
The original scripts were found in the 2 Frasier script books and some draft scripts in my own collection. Click on the episode to see the changes.
The guides are laid out as follows:
David Lee says: The scripts in the second script book all have comments about the episode by David Lee, reprinted here.
Cut Scenes: Scenes, or parts of scenes, which were cut from the final episode. This also includes passages of dialogue of more than a few lines.
Major Dialogue Changes: The odd line that was missed out, or a line that was changed for the final version.
Cast/Character Changes: The script books have sometimes credited a different actor to a character for various reasons, or a character may have a different name. Any cast changes are listed here.
The guides are under construction, and are being completed by 2 people. Guides done by me are marked (GJT) and guides done by TVAddict are marked (TVA). If you would like to help, contact me via the "Contact Me" page.
