Uncles |
|
Uncle Jackie, who works as a vicar in San Francisco. He is also a transvestite. Daphne has visited him a few times.
Her uncle who wrote for a tabloid. His top story was "Minister caught wearing women's clothing", but you had to turn to page 2 to find out it was Margaret Thatcher.
Uncle John, who never went to church until he discovered he was ill. He started going every day but didn't last a year.
Uncle Harold, who named parts of his body after members of the Royal Family.
Her uncle who is a mortician and is going to do the make-up for Daphne's wedding. Frasier comments that the bride will look "very lifelike."
|
Aunts |
|
Aunt Kate, who caught Uncle Harold introducing the "Prince of Wales" (see above) to a cocktail waitress.
Another aunt, who used to say "Goodnight Mr Vanderpump" to a hat rack.
Her aunt who ran a teashop and has chopped off her finger, scalded herself, killed rats and argued with labourers.
Aunt Lillian, who apparantly sounds like Frasier.
Aunt Ida, who runs a bakery and is very big...
Aunt Evelyn, who likes talking to a volleyball for hours.
|
Others |
|
Her ancestor who was one of the mutineers on HMS Bounty. She imagines a naked, tanned lookalike of hers on some faraway island - as does Niles.
Great - aunt Beryl, who lived to her nineties but lost her eyesight in her seventies and sense of balance in her eighties.
Her little niece Audrey, flower girl at her wedding. Audrey is 4 and wore an eye patch, and even she didn't think Daphne was happy. She thought Daphne was a "very sad bride". So Daphne decided to flee her wedding...
