| : 3/19 Eve6/Vast/Tsar Crocodile Rock Fun day! I got out of school @ 12:30 and got ready for confirmation. I got to the church at 4 and it started at 4:30 and ended @ 6. My sister, Sarah, and I rushed out and headed to the Crocodile Rock to see Eve6. They dropped me off to get in line while they went to park. I went up and down the line looking for Ryan who was supposed to be there earlier than me to save us a spot in line. I didnt find him so i waited in the front of the line and the bouncer let me go but I had to wait for lauren and sarah. Then we went in and there were alot of people there cuz it was already 7:30 which was when it was supposed to start. The show ended up selling out. I managed to work my way to the fron tbeing the nice little girl that I am. I was teling everyone tht my friend was up there as I pulled Lauren and Sarah along. The first band was Zarr. They were awesome. The lead singer was so cute, He was like a little girl. Then Vast came on at about 9:30. They wer also good. I mozied my way out of the crowd to go meet Jeff the cute one. But I didnt see him but I saw Ryan who had just got there. Than I tried pulling him through cuz Eve6 is like his favorite band, so he should be able to see them good. But he wasnt pushing through anyone so he kept getting farther back.When Eve6 came on EEk! Major pushing, it wasnt really moshing. Everyone was trying to get to the front. It was so bad I could barely breathe at one point. Whille this was hapennig Crazytown boy was groping me while he could. agh...I lost my shoe and coat during this event. Luckily i brought my little flashlight and i bent over to look for it and the pushing started up again I fell over and but trampled on and I thought i was really going to leave with an injury but I pulled on someone and got my self up. By this time I was right up at the stage. So i tried getting a picture but everyone was jumping, the usual at a concert like that then I wanted to get a pic of Jon and i moshed my way over to the left and thats when my shoe came off! AaThen this big guy was behind me and like kiked me in the back ouch! And some guy crowd surfed over my head and pulled my hair as he was moving along.... jeez this was not your ordinary show, and they werent even that hard the songs werre like mild. Anyway we got back at 1am and i went right to bed.....other things happend but i would go on forever. |

| 4/19 New Found Glory/Glassjaw/Cooter/The Movielife Me and Missy left for the show at 5 and got there around 6:30, it was at Tink's Entertainment Complex in Scranton. We would have been all the way in the back but we have our ways of getting to the front. Ian from NFG, was sitting on the porch part of the building signing autographs. We got stuff sugned than we went back in line. Then Lauren, Richele, and Jesse arrived and they didnt have tickets. We asked the guys if they were still on sale and they wrent. I felt really bad cuz they'd have to wait there until 11:30. We finally got in and we were in a really bad spot. There were like five 8ft. guys in front of us. It was so crowded it was like impossible to get to the front even moshing. When Cooter came on i started trying to push my way up. There were to many people! And all these people were crowdsurfing right over e. I go kicked in the face. And someone landed o me as they were being put down. AGh, it was bad, the music was good but it was all hot and people were sweaty, it was gross. THen i was trying to get out in between sets and they kept pushing back in and im like get the fuck away i need to get out! Then during glassjaw I crowd surfed , and i ended up on my stomach where i was groped everywhere. Finally i got turned over, and someone pushed mmy legs up and i landed on my neck and couyldnt get up and i was trampled on. Yes well there was a lot more going on but any way we got out at like 1!:45 and went home, hooray......i met Ian,-NFG- Jordan-NFG, Todd-Glassjaw, eh was reallllly nice, and the guitarist from movielife, i dont remember his name. |
| 5/3 MxPx/Good Charlotte/Ultimate Fakebook/Crocodile Rock The concert I have been waiting for so long and its gone all ready! But I loved it ooo much. GC rocked! Me and Nadya got there at 6 and it started at 7:30. We got in the first row right by the barracade thing or whatever, and omg was I freaking out. Ultimate Fakebook came on first and played a great set. I got pushed in front of the "barracade" and i could like touch the stage but it wasnt allowe d so the bouncers pushed me back. But i couldnt get back so I ended up sying. YAY! Teh good charlotte came on and i was going crazy screaming all their names. It felt like so good to see them again. It was weird. Annyway benji was right in front of me. I was like touching his shoes and everything. And They all kept alternating spots and i was slapping all their hands. Joel's the most. He was interacting alot with the crowd nadya touched his ass and i pulled his belt. And when Benji jumped his pants were a little far down, heh, so i had a nice view....Then their was this really annoying girl going Benji! Benji!!! Benji!!!!! And im like I dont hink he can hear you hes kind ain the middle of playing, So i was very close to hitting her but i didnt want to get kcked out. anyway they were only on for like an hour :( Then we left the crowd and went to the bathroom for like an hour,,,hah....drying our selves off. Then we went out side and everyone but Paul was out there. So we did the usual got pics, tlaked, autographs hugs. I told Aaron that I was th eone that sent him those email b-day cards, and he gave me a big hug, hes so cute and cuddly. And Benji really like the shirt i made. It was a black cut off tee pinned up the sides and had Benji written in colored sequence and a heart around it in silver sequence. Yes it was pretty kewl. ...I also met the Bill the singer of UFB, he was realllly nice like not fake nice, i could tell he was always like that, it was a great night, not much of MxPx going on, we were only there for like 4 of there songs.Got back around 12 then I dyed my hair haha .........and went to bed! |
| 6/11 Dave Matthews Band Macy Gray, Giant Stadium This Concert was very different from all my "punk shows" of course. I went with Sara, co-founder of the good starlettes.hah) and my frined Tina and sara's mom. It took like two hours to get there including stops I guess. When we got their we sat in the car for a little than stuck our cameras in our bras....cuz you couldnt bring them in. But they ended up like not even checking...so we founf our little gate entrance and we found our seats , which were actually pretty good. first section row 15...Some band from Africa came on and they were pretty interesting, then Macy Gray......who sounded a lot better live then recorded. Then Dave! Woohoo total madness right there... We cheered for about 10 minutes before he playes hah.....Most of the spongs were off the Everyday album which I dont own so I didnt know a lot of them... let me describe the mood....breezy but nice, the peaceful music. and the smell of pot onions, baby powder and something fruiy.. The guys behind us were making jooints out of their ticket stubs..hah...and me and sara were waching./ yes very interesting....and the finale ........hmmm, was the best part of the concert and totally made the night awesome... it kept drizzling a little and we were all praying for rain...he comes back for encore the last song twostep...it starts raining and HAILING...i thought people were throwing things...but it ended when the song did that wasd the weirdest thing, and Dave also said something about raining, lik ehe wanted it to...it was like thundering and lighteneing too....the crowd was totally feeling this and wnet wild....it was just soo awesome, a nice break from the moshing I have to say........... |
