Good Times 2001 Point Series Rules

• One (1) 5-Minute practice set per class.
• Q.M.A. Grands qualifying procedures will be used.
• One 20 lap Heat Race with line-up inverted from qualifying.
• Main event will be run inverted from finish of heat race.  The number of laps will be determined at the handlers meeting prior to the race.
• There are ten (10) races in the series.  There will be two (2) throw out races.
• Drivers must participate in 2/3 (7) of the races to qualify for end of the year awards.  Also, 1/2 of the work parties must be attended.  Novice class begins after completion of training and must participate in 2/3 of races after that time.
• All classes will receive awards to third (3^rd) place at each club race.  Novices will not compete for year end points awards, but will receive a year-end participation award.
• A driver can transfer to another class due to age and carry at most 1 point less that last place with the same number of races.  This applies to Jr. Stock and Jr. Honda transferring to the Senior classes.  The driver will leave total points in previous class for points series.
• One car makes a class.
• Classes will be combined at the discretion of the Good Times officer in charge of the handlers meeting on that date and with the approval of all handlers involved.
• Points will be given to each class separately.
• Controlled practice will begin 30 minutes after sign-ins open.
• The track will be open two hours prior to sign-ins for uncontrolled practice.  The track will then close when sign-ins begin.
• Only club member drivers will receive a gift from the club at the end of the year.  You must run 2/3 (7 races) of the season to qualify.  Novices must run races prior to the end of the season in October to qualify for the club gift.

POINTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

NoTimes (NT), Did Not Starts(DNS), Disqualifications (DQ), and Black Flags (BF) receive

no points in any of the above categories.
