Five Little Kittens

One day my mom and I saw five cute little kittens in my backyard.

I was so sure I was going to get a kitten.

Then I realized that my sister and brother would never want one.

I knew I won’t get a kitten but I know I can visit them and feed them a lot.

After a while, my brother wanted to get rid of them.

We bought the kittens to a store that sold pets but they didn’t accept them.

Then we bought them to the park and left them there.

Their mother was always coming back to our backyard so I knew she missed them.

I asked my mom if we could bring them back and she said yes.

Unfortunately, we only bought back four.

I guess one of them was missing.

We watched the kittens grow and play.

But later on they left.

I waited for weeks for them to come back, but they never did.

I feared they’ll be gone forever.
