Work: A Euphamism for Suffering

The Beginnings of Slavery

Almost from the time a child is old enough to walk it is seperated from its parents and sent to a "school". These "schools" are essentially factories for the creation of mindless drones meant to perpetuate the wealthy elite's hold on people. Young children are forced by law to spend most of their day at these factories learning the skills that will make them viable candidates for toil. At schools they are forced to sit in desks unnable to stand or leave this seat for hours at a time. When children are allowed to leave these seats they are let outside where they are often humiliated and/or beaten. This treatment gradually escalates as the child is physically able to withstand more and more punishment. Children that do not conform to this strict regiment are then punished even more severely by there own parents who have been brainwahed in their own childhood to accept this as "normal".

Realignment of Values

Through years of imagery broadcast on TV, and in other forms of mass media, of a wealthy, active lifestyle has been pushed on youth. These ideas have been internalized by children and influence them for the rest of their lives. Children exceptionally tainted by these ideas can often be found at such places as Abercrombie & Fitch, The GAP, and Bannanna Republic. A more pragmatic approach to dress taken by the lazinistic faction of society will choose to buy clothes that require the least amount of work to obtain (eg. cheap, used clothes). The best way to actually get any clothes is to have somebody buy them for you because you don't even have to go to the store. But I digress. In any case this is just one example of how expensive things are made by society to be more fashionable. This requires people to spend more than they should and then have to work! Are you starting to see how the perpetuation of labor and therefore suffering is engrained in our culture? Think about it, is the vain attempt to look nice really worth any work? If you're unnattractive nothing is going to change that, get used to it.

How to Fight Back

This cycle of pointless work and struggle can be broken. A movement started by the visionary Paul Sylvester often refered to as Lazinism is dedicated to promoting the ideals of slothfulness and sleep. Every individual can make a difference.

PARENTS: Don't encourage or even suggest that your child get a job or do any kind of "school" work. Remember these things will only contribute to your childs destruction.

TEACHERS: Although it would seem like the right thing to do would be quitting your job it would be more effective to set a positive example to your "students" by doing things that encourage lazinism like coming to school with stained/insideout clothes. Stop combing your hair. Also sleep in class, you lead by example.

EVERYONE ELSE: Begin to change your own mindset by recognizing that 3 o'clock is an acceptable time to wake up. Also realize that letting anything conflict with sleep will hurt your body and your mind. Things like going to concerts and watching TV are at night as not to distract you from your precious sleep.

Militant Lazinism

Would require waaaay to much work.
