| I think Sarah's pretty cool. I don't understand why everyone has a problem with her. EVERY story is a love story. So even though Newsies is about a bunch of newspaper selling boys they still need that love story. What better way to add that then to have a sister (it's a like a girl next door thing). The only other way they could have added a love story would to have added a girl newsie or something and although that would have been cool, it wouldn't have been historically correct. So Sarah is the love story of the movie. Anyway, don't blame Sarah for a bad writers and a mediocre (that's totally spelled wrong) actress. |

| I don't like her but I don't not like her. In the movie she did bother me a little because Jack and her didn't seem to ever actually fall in love, or even really like each other before they kissed at the end. I read a guestbook the Ele sighned and that creeped me out a little b/c she sounds just like a girl in a lot of my classes who thinks she's my friend. All musical and sort of bragging about it. | Sarah wasn't the gratest character. she was a goody goody and not at all believeable. The original script gave her a better part, but even the existion part could have been better with a better actress. From: Music |
