STATIONS By Gordon Gribbin |
Maggie is on her way into the city from her suburban home. She is in the process of reviewing her life and marriage. At each station on the way to the city, various characters join Maggie in her compartment and we listen to their internal monologues and to Maggie's too. This is a short platy that uses a large cast in a piece of ensemble acting. Probably best used by the company hosting a one-act play festival because of size of cast. Funny, disturbing and an excellent experience, according to those who have played in it. |
