Gordon Productions presented DRACULA - A RADIO PLAY by Philip Grecian, a radio-readers theatre version of the classic vampire tale, on October 27-29 of 2006. The show was presented as if it were a 1940's radio show, with actors on-stage in 1940's era costumes, reading from scripts while a sound effects crew provided all of the appropriate scary noises. The cast included Troy Kemp (Count Dracula), Aasne Vigesaa (Mina Harker), Don Schneider (Dr. Abraham Van Helsing), Dennis Rendleman (Dr. Jack Seward), Gus Gordon (Jonathan Harker), Jason Goodreau (R.M. Renfield), Mary Young (Lucy Westenra), Mary Beth Maloney (Birdie), Steve Kaplan (Williams) and Pat Foster (Announcer). Karl Bockemeier, Brett Rutherford, Steve Williams and cast created and executed the sound effects, and Donn Stephens and Kayla Primm provided the musical accompaniment. Donn composed an original score for the production. The show was produced by special arrangement with The Dramatic Publishing Company of Woodstock, Illinois.

DRACULA - A RADIO PLAY was presented on October 27 and 28 at 8:00pm and on Sunday, October 29 at 2:00pm. Local NPR radio station, WUIS, was our "media sponsor" and recorded the show for broadcast on Halloween night at 7pm! Location - Sacred Heart-Griffin Auditorium (1200 West Washington).
