| Gordon circa 1900 Between the years 1880 and 1900 Gordon experienced massive changes. First off, a new brick downtown district was built. In 1900, when this photo was taken, the downtown buildings were still in the construction process. On the far left of this photo you will see a two story building which was the Eaton and Blewett building. In the middle of the photo is the downtown area. As you move from left to right from the middle you can see the old Harlin rock building, the old Methodist Church, and the old two story movie theater. There are photos of all these places and more on this site. NOTE:When this photo was reduced in size to fit on this website, it became grainy. We hope to upload a better version soon. |
