The Third Gordon School Building

This was the first brick school building for the district. It was constructed in about 1923-24 and was in use up until the late 1960's.

In 1999 this building was demolished to make way for a new high school gymnasium.

In 1968 a new high school was constucted which is still used as the high school today. Since it was built a new elementary school was added in 1980 and a new state of the art  library and classroom addition was added in 1993. In 1994 a new football and track complex was constructed which now holds around 3000 spectators. The last major construction project for Gordon ISD was a new gymnasium. It was completed in the summer of 2000. Pictures of the current schools will be up soon!
