I am slave

It is said that all women are slaves. Well... if you believe and accept Norman's philosophies as true, if you have indeed stepped up to take your place in the "natural order of things," then this is true.

But, are all slaves kajira? I don't think so. There are some rare women who are slaves to their core. Their slavery defines them as women. It is who they are. Many are the uncollared slaves we see every day. Women who have accepted and embraced their slavery and simply exist to be pleasing. They serve loyally and often selflessly, hoping perhaps that each one they serve will be the one to grace them with his steel. But, they go on each day, serving and pleasing, because it is precisely that for which they know with a certainty they are destined. They serve because it is who and what they are... slave... No matter who they are interacting with, these women are in each breath they take... kajira. They might wear a collar... but if that collar were removed, they would remain... slave.

There is another kind of slave, though. Another type of slavery. Not better or worse. Just different. This is a woman who's slavery can only be inspired by a particular man. Her slavery and surrender may be just as deep, if not deeper. But her slavery does not define her as a person. She knows with every fiber of her being that it is at His feet, in His steel where her destiny lies. Her will, her heart, her soul are all His to do with as He will. If she serves others, it is only because it pleases Him for her to do so, but she views things differently, I think. She may not show it, but she views all others as her equals. She is mastered by none but Him. Her submission is His alone. These women might wear collars as well... But if that collar were removed, these women would return to what they know they are without the influence of that particular man............... Free.

To those of you who are collared.......... which type of slave are you?

I wish you well,

D
