Can slaves have honor?
Honor to me is not a possession. Honor is inherent. It lives within the heart. Some take longer than others to discover it within themselves.... some never know it's there. But honor is not learned. It is not acquired. It is.
We all (Free as well as slave) make choices in this life. Every word we utter or action we take is a choice. Our honor governs those choices... even if that choice is simply to.... obey.
Can gorean slaves have honor? My answer is a resounding Yes. Honor is what sets them apart from the giggling "pseudo-subbies playing Gor." Honor is the quiet strength of character and integrity with which true gorean slaves conduct themselves. There is honor in their devotion to serving, their dedication to the ways of Gor.... in their loyalty to the Masters and Mistresses they serve. It is this honor which has earned them this Gorean Freewoman's respect.
