A little bit about Gor.

If you are reading this page the chances are that you know that the Chronicles of Gor, are a series of Novels written by John Lange, pen name John Norman. He lives in the United States and is a teacher of philosophy. These novels are set on a planet, undiscovered by us, because of its direct orbit with the sun.

However, they know of us. The planet’s rulers, giant ant like creatures called Priest Kings have over the years removed various groups of people from earth cultures, and settled them on Gor. Although these different groups, retain a flavour of the old earth culture from which they originated, there has developed a strong Gorean culture.
All over the Internet you will find lots of information about all of this, and you will see that there are many people who will assure you that they are Gorean. What do they mean by this? With many, they mean that they play a game online that takes its ethos from the Gor novels.

However, there are quite a few who will tell you that they are "Gorean Lifestylers." They say that they base their lifestyle on what they call the philosophy of these novels. So what is it that has attracted them to saying that they live this lifestyle?
