Frogs are Important

Because of this cliquey attitude, there have been many break- a- way groups, who have set up their own meeting places, their own taverns, their own forums. Many of these factions have engaged in lengthy flame wars with each other. They will slate each other for not living Gor, as it is written in the books, and each faction will state that they are living the *real* Gor, whilst everyone else is a *Gamer* or *Player* What constitutes real Goreanism?

The jury is certainly out on that one, and I doubt they will ever agree. A favourite pastime, seems to be seeking out other Goreans, and pointing out how ungorean, is what they say and do. And they argue about so many little things. An example of this: A man may denigrate a Free Woman’s website because she has illustrated it with frogs, and there are no frogs on Gor. They must spend vast amounts of time reading and rereading those books, that is the only way that one can be absolutely sure that there are no frogs on that fictional planet. She may reply that she likes frogs, and being Gorean, means doing what you want.

The man who points out the lack of frogs on Gor, will then refer to his “slave” as his “bitch”, ignoring there are definitely no dogs, and therefore no bitches on Gor. This might get picked up eventually by someone, and they will debate afresh, and discussions like this go on and on and on and take up a lot of bandwidth.
