AGATUS

Eskarth the Dark One (guitars, bass, keyboards, vocals); Vorskaath the Dark One (drums, percussion, vocals)

Agatus are originally from Greece but have been located in Adelaide for several years. The band performs haunting and atmospheric, raw black metal with medieval overtones. They were in fact performing this style even before the like of Satyricon! A demo was released in 1993 before the 1994 full length album Dawn of Martyrdom was released on Hypervorea Records, later bootlegged by No Colours. Over the years they have played a minimal amount of shows in Melbourne and Adelaide but have maintained a cult status in the underground scene worldwide.
