Old school death metal in the Kreator vein was the forte of Sydney's Grungeon, stalwarts of the scene for the first half of the 1990s. Formed from the ashes of several other bands including Campbell's White Trash, the band featured at Metal for the Brain in 1992 and 1993 and appeared on a handful of compilations before ultimately splitting up in 1997. Dalton (who was previously a member of Suiciety for a brief period) was replaced by Hefty Hoffman in 1994 and Sullivan took over vocal duties. He was in turn replaced by Dave Colless from Apostasy. Campbell and Hoffman joined the reformed Mortal Sin in 1996 and Morelli was a member of Nazxul.
