MALICE

Lew Smith (guitar, vocals); Aaron Worboys (guitar, vocals); Ray (bass); Tim (drums)

Black metal band from Nowra in southren NSW. Since early beginnings in 1997, Malice has had a rather convoluted history. Featuring Luke from Secratain on guitar and Tom Smith on vocals, Malice later recruited Tom's brother Lew, Scott Graham on bass and Brett Hoy on drums. By the year 2001 the band was down to the Smiths and a drum machine, and as such recorded an EP that wasn't immediately released. Soon, Malice had accumulated some new members in Aaron on guitar, Daniel on drums and Richie on bass. Aaron jammed with Psi Kore for a very short while after Ben Walker left but never actually joined the band. Malice began to develop a small following but in 2002 Tom Smith left, leaving them without a speacialist vocalist. A few months later, Lew went on to join Temtris as a side project (Aaron later joined Temtris on bass). Ex Black Reign drummer Tim and bassist Ray joined Malice in 2003.
