Extreme doom comes from this painfully and deliberately obscure Adelaide band whose origins go back to 1993. While their recorded output has been minimal and restricted to a limited number of demo recordings, Mournful Congregation has received good press worldwide for their sombre, dismal symphonies. The forthcoming full length album is a re-recording of a previous demo.
