Raw and exceedingly cult Nazi occult black metal band from Brisbane. Spear of Longinus has existed since at least mid-1995 when their first demo appeared; an album cut on 12" vinyl was recorded about a year later but remained unreleased until 1998. Sometime that year SOL either split or went on an extended hiatus after the recording of Nada Brahma but a new line-up emerged on the live front in 2001 featuring BJ on vocals and Hugh on bass with Camazotz switching to guitar. Most members of this band also feature in other equally-aligned Brisbane extreme acts such as Vomitor, and Griffiths is also a member of a skinhead band. The third listed album is new and limited to less than a 1000 copies.
