The Gosline Zouave uniform consisted of a short waste length dark blue jacket, dark blue chassuer style trowser, dark blue kepi with red trim, dark blue cotton flannel shirt, red trim around the placket and large silver buttons. The gaiters were made of either brown canvas or brown leather.
