ANGEL AND MORTAL

“THE UNSEEN COMPANION”

            ………Are not all Angels ministering spirit

                        Sent to serve those who will intent salvation.

This is an internal mechanism of Gospel Explosion to further foster giving, visitation and encourages person to person ministration by Prayer, giving etc. Of course Angels are ministering spirits to humans, that is where the mortal aspect comes in.  And because angels are unseen spirit, each Explo member at the beginning of each year is assigned to an angel who ministers to the mortal (a fellow Explo member) in prayer, cash and kind and the angel is to remain unseen until the end of the year where all angels are revealed to the mortals.  The system is such that every Explo member ministers as an angel to someone and receives ministration too from another person as a mortal.

With this institution, God has worked in various ways to meet our prayer needs, encouragements, loneliness and burdens, sometimes very timely interventions. Have been made by some angels.

Angels our servants are

And keep in all our ways

And in their watchful hands they bear

The sacred sons of grace

CARING AND SHARING

“All the believers were together and had everything in common. 

Selling their possession and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need.

Everyday they continued to meet together in the temple courts. 

They broke bread in their house and ate together with glad and sincere hearts.

This piece of scripture forms the basis and the inspiration which motivated Gospel Explosion to put in place this wonderful activity which has every seriousness and with all the participation that it needs.

Every year on Gospel Explosion’s programme, a day is set aside to honour this memorable gathering.  During this gathering members contribute from their own resources in terms of food, drinks and so on to make the programme an eventful one.

We share food, drinks, ideas, love, care, good moments and all that there is to be shared with a heart of generosity, purity and sincerity.  With this, hearts beats of people have been felt, burdens have been lifted and loneliness has been catered for as everybody is identified as part of the Gospel Explosion family.  Let’s not even talk of the union it has brought about in relationships leading to marriage. For the past few years, this Exercise has bee held together with Literary wing of IHCF and has mostly been held at the Lake Bosumtwi a natural occurring lake surrounded by massive mountains and has a great historical myth surrounding its appearance.

As light of the world and salt of the land, we are to maintain our value.  In line with this Gospel Explosion uses this medium to open to the little foxes that might destroy the vineyard.

This programme is an open form of a kind where issues affecting the group, personal lives of members & the ministry are brought forward and as we open ourselves up to wisdom, understanding and knowledge, we can improve on what we have committed ourselves to and to kept the banner flying high and upholding every Godly standard in our aspect of life.  From academics, finance, relationship, ministry down to the Z issues.  With the admonishing in Romans 12:2, that we will not be conformed to this world but we shall be transformed by the renewing of our minds so that we can accept the perfect will of God.

Be it my only wisdom here

To serve the Lord with filial fear

With loving gratitude

Superior sense may I display

As part of our vision as a  music ministry we believe we have been empowered to spread the gospel of Christ through the music.  As it said that “proverbs are the oil with which words are eaten”….  We are to first conquer our Jerusalem before getting out to our Judea, Samaria and outer most part of the world.

This programme is designed on Explo’s calender to reach out to the people in our immediate surroundings with the good news.  This programme is centered on the  various Halls of residence in and around KNUST campus.  As the name suggests, the programme is at dawn, where Explo mounts instruments at a designated location in a hall and after a sweet worship early in the morning, the good news is shared and an invitation is thrown for people to give their lives to Christ.

Through this avenue a lot have bee saved, healed, delivered and set free by the power of Christ.  We cannot agree more with the hymnist in saying….

... A change to kept me here

A God to glorify

A rarer drying soul to save

And fit it for the sky……
