Legend of the super saiya-jins
2 millenium ago a super saiyin was born, but he could only sustain his powers in ape form. He was to primative to control his power so he destroyed himself. Now 5 of the Z-Fighters and 1 bad guy have attained Super Saiyin status. I will tell you in order.

Kinds of Saiyans
Every Saiya-Jin starts off as a Saiya-Jin(Makes Sense),They all have black hair(Unless their parents have diffrent hair color)just like ordinary people .They also have a tail and hey gain more power when they are training , fighting and improving . Saiya-Jins have a speical ability , they can change into Oozaru(Giant were monkey with a very high power level)when they look into a full moon.The only true surviving Saiya-Jins are Nappa , Goku , Vegeta , and Raditz

INTRESTING FACTS : Trunks / Future Trunks is the only Saiya-Jin(That's still living)who hasn't got black hair . This is because he was born to be a much inferior Saiya-Jin , His mother Bulma has purple hair that is why he has diffrent color hair.

SUPER SAIYA-JIN ( SJJ )
The first Super Saiya-Jin appeared in the Dragonball Series is Goku who was fighting Freeza when he killed Krillin . He was so enraged he transformed into a Super Saiya-Jin . The Saiya-Jin must accumulate enough rage to surpass the limits of an ordinary Saiya-Jin . Once in Super Saiya-Jin form the Saiya-Jin's power level is greatly increased by at least 25X a normal Saiya-Jins power level . Their hair changes into gold ignoring what ever color he once had , Their Eyes become green and their muscles increase tremendously.They also have a golden aura around their body which increase power , speed , agility , and tricks .This was how Goku killed Freeza in the Freeza Series.
ADVANTAGE : It increase the overall power.(They have gold hair too which i think makes them alot cooler)

INTRESTING FACTS : Goku was the first Earth-Raised Saiya-Jin to become a Super Saiya-Jin , Vegeta got jealous and angry when Goku Transforms into Super Saiya-Jin form and knew he can never defeat Goku , but when Future Trunks came back to their time and transformed into a Super-Saiyajin Vegeta was determined to become a Super Saiya-Jin he asked Bulma's Father to build him a gravity machine that can go up to 800X gravity instead of a mere 100X . After training and training he reached his limit he was so angry seeing that Goku and Trunks can become Super Saiya-Jin he was so enraged he became a Super Saiya-Jin.There are also other ways to become Super Saiya-Jin some are Training , Anger , or Natural .Goku losses he ability to use Kaioh-Ken attack.

SUPER SAIYA-JIN LEVEL 2 ( SJJ 2 )
Super Saiya-Jin Level 2 . Again to earn this stage , a Super Saiya-Jin must be able to push past his / her own maximun limit . To get to this process is much easier to transform from a Saiya-Jin to a Super Saiya-Jin . Just by working extra hard , and Saiya-Jin can get to this level . A successful transformation will result in gold solidfied hair which splits into pieces of traingular strips . The hair sticks up and the glow of golden light around the Saiya-Jin seem to become more pure .
ADVANTAGE : As a Super Saiya-Jin 2 , They have the ability to adjust their strength / speed / agility . More experienced fighters such as Goku and Vegeta , they know how to balance up to make them well adjusted . If successful , it can also result in increasing of strength / speed / agility .
DISADVANTAGE : If one part the power go up the other two have to go down . For example , if a Saiya-Jin chooses to have more strength , he /she has to sacrafice speed and agility .
INTRESTING FACTS : Gohan was the first Saiya-Jin to ever reach this level . When Cell destroyed the nature loving Android number #16 Gohan was enraged and became into a more powerful stronger Super Saiya-Jin this is called Super Saiya-Jin Level 2 or Super Saiya-Jin Stage 2 ( Same thing ) . The power of a Super Saiya-Jin Level 2 is 5-10X stronger than a ordinary Super Saiya-Jin .

SUPER SAIYA-JIN LEVEL 3 ( SJJ 3 )
This is once again , the next level from a Super Saiya-Jin Level 2 , or possibly the final transformation . By expanding the power (similar to the transformation from Super Saiya-Jin to Super Saiya-Jin 2)to get to this stage . However , getting into this level isn't easy , it requires much more strength to transform from Super Saiya-Jin Level 2 to Super Saiya-Jin Level 3 . The only diffrence between a Super Saiya-Jin Level 2 and Super Saiya-Jin Level 3 is that the Super Saiya-Jin Level 3 stage has about 1 feet more hair and has a flater face . This stage is suppose to be the strongest Super saiya-Jin level reached by a Saiya-Jin but there is also a Super Saiya-Jin Level 4 in Dragonball GT which is known as a Fake Saiya-Jin level because of the hair which changes back to the orignial color.
ADVANTAGE : The Super Saiya-Jin Level 3 has much greater strength / speed / agility . Which it makes the Super Saiya-Jin stage near completion.
DISADVANTAGE : Since a Super Saiya-Jin Level 3 is much more powerful , it uses up alot more strength too . A Super Saiya-Jin Level 3 fighter can fight for awhile , but he / she gets tired very quickly too . It is known that resting will not build up strength , it will lose strength .
INTRESTING FACTS : Goku is the only Saiya-Jin to ever reach this stage , apart from Brolly ( I guess Brolly has the ability too).Gotenks is the first combined Saiya-Jin to reach this level .

SUPER SAIYA-JIN LEVEL 4 ( SJJ 4 )
Once again , the next stage from a Super Saiya-Jin Level 3 , to Super Saiya-Jin level 4 the final transformation . By expanding the power (I believe you can go beyond a Super Saiya-Jin Level 4)to get to this stage. However , getting into level isn't easy , it requires all the strength from Super Saiya-Jin Level 3 to Super Saiya-Jin Level 4 . The only diffrence between a Super Saiya-Jin Level 3 is that a Super Saiya-Jin Level 4 has long black hair , clothes change , no shirt , their tail grows back but has purple fur on it , Their eyes become evil like and their eyebrows grow back .
ADVANTAGE : The Super Saiya-Jin Level 4 has the greatest strength , speed , agility .
DISADVANTAGE : Since a Super Saiya-Jin Level 4 is the most powerful , it uses up all the strength too . A Super Saiya-Jin Level 4 fighter can fight for awhile , but he /she gets tired very quickly too . It is known that resting will not build up strength , it will lose strength .
INTRESTING FACTS : Vegeta did not use Training or Anger to reach this stage he used a machine that Bulma made which triggered him to skip Super Saiya-Jin Level 3 and go automatically to Super Saiya-Jin Level 4 . Goku and Vegeta can fuse into Super Saiya-Jin Gogeta Level 4 in the Shenlong Era.

OOZARU ( WERE MONKEY )
A transformation process of a Saiya-Jin by just looking at a full moon . It is another way to gain power . By looking at a full moon will transform them into a giant were monkey . They can do this only if they have a tail at the present moment . If the tail is cut off then the Saiya-Jin will be transformed back into his / her normal form . An articial moon light can also be replaced in order to transform when there in no moon ( Vegeta did this when fighting Goku back at Dragonball Z )
ADVANTAGE : The Oozaru stage makes a saiya-Jin's power level increase by at least 10 folds . Its stronger than his normal form , but not as strong as a Super Saiya-Jin .
DISADVANTAGE : Since the Saiya-Jins become large monkeys , its very difficult to control their body . Also they can't control their actions as much , unless of course they train , or being guided by someone .
INTRESTING FACTS : Trunks did not have a tail . Also Goku's tail was removed by Kami-Sama and it grew back when he was a Super Saiya-Jin Level 4 . Other Saiya-Jins like Gohan's and Vegeta's tail grew it self aftee being removed .

GOLDEN OOZARU ( GOLD WERE MONKEY )
A transformation process of a Saiya-Jin by just looking at a full earth . It is another way to gain power . By looking at a full Earth and acummulating alot of power they will transform into a giant golden were monkey . It looks just like Oozaru , but with golden fur .
ADVANTAGE : Stronger than a Super Saiya-Jin Level 3
DISADVANTAGE : Can not be controlled
INTRESTING FACTS : This transformation does not require a tail . Goku couldn't contol himself when he was a Golden Oozaru but when Bebi stole Vegeta's body and went into Golden Oozaru Mode he had complete control .

3.They grow back tails which are maroon.

Level 1-After The Frieza Saga He Went To Train In The Gravity Room.After He Became Strong And Was Training In About 450x Gravity He Was Fustrated That Goku And Future Trunks Can Became Super Saiya-Jins And He Can Never Beat Them.He Became So Angry He Transformed Into Super Saiya-Jin.
Level 2-Vegeta Reaches Level 2 Super Saiya-Jin While Being Majin Vegeta.
