BURCHETT HINTS AT GOTHAM CHANGES

----------------------------------

In a recent interview with Newsrama ( www.fandom.com/comics) artist Rich Burchett shed a little more light on the changes for Gotham in 2001 that the DC team hinted at during the san Diego Batman panel.

"I’m working on one of the major Batman crossovers for next year," Burchett told Newsarama. "It’s an eight issue series that will begin and end as standalone bookends and will cross through the other Batman books, and I’m drawing the bookends for it, Greg [Rucka] is writing them, and the other Batman books will pickup the story thread and run with it. It’s pretty nifty – it changes the stakes in Gotham City pretty radically, and is just another thing where I was standing in the right place at the right time to get it handed to me."
