A fairly quiet week this week on the Bat news front. However here’s a special something, a chance to own a unique piece of Bat art and help charity at the same time:
BATMAN POSTER ART FROM COMICS 2000 FESTIVAL

Now being offered on eBay original black and white line art by new 2000AD artist Simon Gurr that was used in the poster programme for the UK's Official Comics Festival in April 2000 and shows Batman swinging over Bristol city centre.
The original line art is 30cm x 40 cm and an invaluable addition to any Bats collection.
Money raised by this sale goes to ChildLine, UK registered charity No. 1003758

BATMAN 1960s SHOW

The Sci-Fi Channel is once again running special days with continuous blocks of the classic 1960s Batman TV show staring Adam West.
Next block will be shown on Monday July 23rd.

BATMAN BEYOND
---------------
Kids' WB! has announced
a revamping of its schedules, effective Monday May 14th and including the
elimination of one Batman Beyond episode.
Batman Beyond will now be shown at 3:00pm only, Monday to Thursday.
NEW BATMAN / SUPERMAN ADVENTURES
----------------------------------
While Cartoon Network continues to run the Superman episodes at 6:30pm Tuesday through Friday, the BATMAN episodes are currently on hold. Current rumors are that it may return as part of the fall schedule.
BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES

In Canada, YTV airs Batman: The Animated Series at 3:30 AM EDT, Monday

JUSTICE LEAGUE PREVIEW

Warner Bros. Animation's
Rich Fogel recently told The Comics Continuum web-site that fans will get a
first look at Cartoon Network's Justice League animated series at the upcoming
Comic-Con International in San Diego. (See “Meet The Bat Team” below for more
information.)
"We're just
starting to plan the Justice League panel now, and although we probably won't
have a finished episode, we'll definitely have some eye-popping visuals to
share," Fogel told The Continuum.
"We're all very
excited about having a chance to give some of our most devoted fans a sneak
peek at what's coming up on Justice League."
The date and time of the
Justice League panel has not been released yet.
BATMAN TO RETURN TO CARTOON NETWORK

The World’s Finest news site has received hints that Batman may return to the Cartoon Network schedule fir the fall line up as a lead in to the new Justice League series.
